artisans of france – alix d reyis

From ceramics to candles to jewelry, Alix D Reynis focuses on sustainable luxury. A row of irregular pearls, tiny air bubbles on a glazed dish, and everything in her multifaceted collection is unique. Her inspiration takes many forms, from clean lines of Ancient Greek architecture to intricate eastern patterns to elaborate Baroque details.

Alix worked as a notary before deciding to pursue her passion for sculpture. She enrolled in a sculpting course, studying on the side of five years while simultaneously juggling her legal career. She then launched herself in 2011 and has been non-stop with her creative prowess.

Her ceramics are crafted in Limoges porcelain. This is a delicate material that brings about an imperfect perfection that Alix adores. She creates each of her molds that are then sent to a family-owned business in Limoges, where her pieces are brought to life using traditional methods and stamped with the signature “Limoges Frace”. This stamp is well looked upon through the ceramic community.

In 2020, Alix expanded her brand to include jewelry. A collection of delicate rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, made from gold and vermeil. Meticulously carved and encrusted with precious and semi-precious stones, each is a wearable piece of art. With her vision of modern artisan, Alix creates a special universe- one that fuses design, history, and heritage techniques! A true artiste!
