pipolaki: a french brand since 1962

pipolaki

Pipolaki has been a French brand since 1962. The brand was founded in the small town of Ney, located in the Pyrenees by André and Jean Olibet. Both passionate about skiing, they started to design hats from Pyrenean wool. Their story took off in 1964 when Christine and Marielle Goitschel won the giant slalom event at the Innsbruck Olympic Games and made the front page of Paris Match Magazine with their gold medals and Pipolaki beanie. From then on, the brand became a reference for the greatest skiers and the French Alpine skiing teams.

Today, Pipolaki beanies continue to hit the French ski slopes and other slopes around the world. Not only offering their famous beanies but also a wide range of fashion pieces and accessories. If you would like to try some of their warm, cozy accessories, we are happy to have a few items available on the MFCH Boutique!
