the importance of sustainable brands at msfb

msfb fall box banner

It is important for us here at MSFB to do what we can to be a sustainable brand. We are careful in the way we work here, limiting our carbon footprint, and recycling any waste materials.

We are also careful when choosing the brands that we choose to work with. Today we want to tell you about just a couple of them, and what they are doing to take care of the planet.

Being a company that ships all around the world, it is our number one goal to source items in France. This helps reduce our C02 levels and helps us know exactly where and how each item is created and manufactured.

Another way that we keep things eco-friendly here at MSFB, is that we use an (almost) zero plastic motto. The materials used in our packaging are designed to be recycled or reused. Many of our clients reuse their MSFB Box as storage in their homes- and so do we!

These are just some of the ways that we keep our structure as sustainable as we can.

Now let us share with you a few brands that we have worked with and how they are sustainable-

sabe masson balm

Sabé Masson is one of our favorite cosmetic brands. One thing that we love about them is that they hold a Vegan Label. This registered trademark means that their products do not contain animal products or byproducts and that they have not been tested on animals. They also design, create, and manufacture all of their products in France- making them local and sustainable.

Our top pick from Sabé Masson has to be their solid perfumes– which are beautifully scented and a must have for any woman on the go.

You can find their solid perfume in our most recent Mademoiselle Collection. Which will be shipping in November – just in time for the holidays!

pochettes by gabrielle paris

Gabrielle Paris takes many steps to ensure that they are a sustainable brand. They offer durable timeless products that can accommodate any season. With any material that is leftover from a production, they give a second life to them with other creations like bed and table linens.

They pay great attention in their packaging and shipping. All of their packaging is 100% recyclable and to lower their carbon footprint, they ship in shipments rather than by order.

If you are looking for a great way to organize your luggage, try the Gabrielle Paris Wash Bags– as seen in our 2019 Daughter Box!

Q de Bouteilles is one of the most creative sustainable brands that we have partnered with. They work with restaurants and bars from all over France to up-cycle their empty wine and champagne bottles. Once the bottles are collected, they are entrusted to the hands of artisans who share a passion for working with cold glass in The Glass Valley (a cluster for luxury bottles for perfumes and spirits that extends from Normandy to Picardie).

If you would like to have a very special piece of France in your home, take a look at the beautiful MFCH Vase that we created exclusively for our followers.

apis cera lucienne candles

Apis Cera is a sustainable, organic candle and soap brand- located in the heart of Provence. Founder, Charles, creates everything by hand and uses local natural ingredients. He shares each step of his process with his followers, from creation to production. With Apis Cera, you are sure to find organic products from a true, sustainable French artisan.

His Lucienne Candles are our favorite way to light up the dinner table.

There are so many other sustainable French brands to explore, and we look forward to sharing them with you!
