EPURE

“Epure”, started in 2011, is a studio which creates beautiful ceramic objects. This name evokes simplicity, authenticity, and the essential qualities of the objects themselves..

Epure’s creator, Justine Lacoste, after her degree course, chose to focus on clay, and in particular, porcelain, which for her is an ideal medium to express her creativity. Her desire for freedom of expression was the driving force behind the adventure. Purely self-taught, Justine developed her skills by working with established ceramicists, potters and mould-makers. In 2013, Jean, her husband, joined her in the studio, and now the adventure continues as a couple. Justine concentrates on the creative side, Jean on the production – together they make a perfect team.
