le jacquard français

le jacquard francais

Le Jacquard Français is one of the brands featured in our Box 17, last February. So many people wrote with great feedback on the tea towel that we included, we thought you may like to know more about the brand and their weaving techniques.

Le Jacquard Français is a manufacturer of table, kitchen, and bath linen. Since 1888 they have woven their fabrics in Gérdmer in the Vosges, eastern France.

le jacquard français

Warm and generous, their collections are rich with joyful and shimmering colors that work perfectly around the home. Their designs have been popular with the French for generations.

They also hold the very important title of EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant). This title distinguishes companies with excellent craftsmanship and industrial know-how. Le Jacquard Français earned the title by mastering the damask technique, which is used to produce their products 100% in France. The technique of the damask weave allows the fabric design to be visible on the front as well as on the back. With Le Jacquard’s French know-how and use of exceptional materials, you can be sure that you are receiving high-quality products for you and your home.

If you missed out on Le Jacquard Français in our February Box, you still have the chance to have some of their lovely items in your home from our boutique!
