august box 2021 reveal

Aug 25, 2021 | Uncategorized

The August Box is curated around the sunny village of Saint-Tropez and today we are revealing the contents!

Saint-Tropez is a seaside town on the Côte d’Azur that shot to fame when the French star Brigitte Bardot made it her home.

We love this glamorous destination and are thrilled to share some of our favorite summer items with you, transporting you and your senses directly to sun-soaked Saint-Tropez!

Inside this Box, you will find…

august box 2021 reveal

A weekend bag by Tampico Bags – Tampico Bags is one of our new favorite French brands, creating chic urban bags in the Dordogne region of France. In this Box, we have included their adorable Weekender tote. Made of cotton with leather trimmings, it is perfect for everyday use.

A cotton fouta by MFCH – This soft cotton fouta is custom-made exclusively for My French Country Home. We chose this beautiful raspberry color to match the delightfully colorful architecture found in Saint-Tropez. Use it as a throw to lay on the beach or lounge by the pool.

A custom sunglasses chain by Bohm – We worked directly with Bohm to offer you this handmade sunglasses chain. This glamorous and useful accessory is popular in France, and we are happy to share it with you! Use it to keep your glasses safe around your neck while traveling, or remove the small loops at each end and wear it as a necklace!

senequier nougat

Nougat from Sénéquier – Originally a candy shop, Sénéquier gained fame in the 1800s for its delicious soft nougat. The charming Saint-Tropez shop has since become an iconic and chic café that lies at the heart of the port. The best place to watch the world go by while enjoying a coffee or lunch.

monet petrusse scarf

A silk scarf by Petrusse – While envisioning this Box, we wanted to capture the glamour of the Côte d’Azur and immediately thought of a scarf tied in true Grace Kelly style. This beautifully vibrant silk scarf can be tied around your shoulders, on your head or even the handle of your new bag!

Hand cream from Rose et Marius – Rose et Marius creates the most delicious scents, and for this Box, we picked our favorites for an on-the-go hand cream (each Box will contain one of the three featured fragrances). This luxurious cream is the perfect size to keep in your new tote, so you can be sure your skin stays soft in that Saint-Tropez sun!

rose et marius liquid soap

A liquid soap by Rose et Marius – This liquid soap is made in accordance with Provençal traditions, with natural ingredients to leave your skin soft and sweet-smelling. It can be used for showering as well as for handwashing, beautifully displayed in your kitchen bathroom. You’ll find one of our three scents in your Box!

porcelain dish

An antique porcelain pot – In every MFCH Box, we include an antique or vintage item – it is the piece that makes each of our Boxes unique and unlike any other. For our Saint-Tropez Box, we included a vintage white porcelain pot that can be used as a vase or decorative holder (please note that these are one-of-a-kind antiques and the pots will vary in shape and size).

charrier aug box

A watercolor print by Michel Charrier – This year, we are delighted to be working with Michel Charrier, as our resident artist. His poetic watercolors elicit a light and carefree mood, and he loves to feature big bouquets displayed in colorful, romantic interiors. By the end of 2021, our regular subscribers will have an art collection comprising four original Michel Charrier French interiors.
