Château d’Estoublon sits in the Alpilles, in the heart of Provence, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Wine remains central to its identity, with olive oil produced alongside it, both shaped by the same land and seasonal rhythm. Each harvest reflects the conditions of the year, tying the work of the estate closely to its environment.
The team manages production on site, from cultivation through to bottling. They grow both grapes and olives on the property, maintaining a direct link between the land and the finished product. This approach favors continuity over uniformity, allowing each year to express itself rather than aiming for a consistent result.
The approach to olive oil is the same discipline found in winemaking. Harvest timing, variety, and method all influence the final profile. Each oil reflects its origin, with differences in structure, intensity, and finish depending on the season. These variations are not corrected but remain part of what defines Estoublon.
This connection to the land extends beyond production and into the way the property is experienced. A small number of suites and rooms are available on site, offering the opportunity to stay within the estate itself. Days follow the same rhythm as the surrounding vineyards and groves, with private chef and butler services available as part of the experience.
There is also a distinct identity in the way Estoublon presents its products. The bottles are immediately recognizable, with a shape that references traditional apothecary forms. The design is considered but remains secondary to what is inside, allowing the oil or vinegar to remain the focus.
