Wonderful Selection of Products!

The August box was filled with such a wonderful assortment of products…one more beautiful than the next! I especially loved the matching large tote and zipper bag. The only reason for 4 stars is the lipstick. I was extremely excited to try it, but as soon as I opened it, my excitement faded as I saw the very dark fuchsia pink color that will absolutely not fare well on my light skin tone. I tried it just to give it a shot. And while the lipstick was luxuriously smooth and wonderful, the color just did not even remotely work. Unfortunately, that is a large part of the box, given the cost, and I cannot use it. I wish there was a way to specify light/dark or warm/cool colorings when the box contains a make-up item. It would make it far more likely that the recipient would be able to use the product. I’m all for trying new things, but I now have this lovely lipstick that will unfortunately go to waste.

We are thrilled to hear you loved the tote and zipper bag – they really are a beautiful set. We are sorry to hear that the lipstick shade was not quite right for your complexion, and we completely understand the frustration.

We are an extremely small team of women, and customizing boxes by skin tone or color preference would be quite a feat for us at this stage – but it is something we wish we could offer and hope to one day make possible. In the meantime, perhaps the lipstick could make a wonderful gift for someone in your life!
