I have mixed feelings about this one. I would’ve preferred the map towel instead of a repeat of the chair print that we received as a card in the February box. I am thrilled I received the cream jug and green linen set. I would’ve been quite disappointed in any other options, based on my kitchen colors. I also did not receive an antique tin. Sharon explained they found some vintage, but new, but the appeal of the antique item is the patina, the obvious age. The tins in the pictures are lovely. I also cannot use mine as the suggested soap dish because it is so sharp. The little soap is a lovely idea but a set of 3 would’ve seemed more luxurious, and up to the price point, along with a whole set of
3 spice containers. Would’ve loved a blue envelope with this print, since we already got green and a lovely red. The radish salt and pepper shaker are adorable but I would’ve rather the high price of them be funneled to some other items. I also like the cabbage and pea ones better. Some variation in the boxes would’ve nice, then I may have received a different one. I did think the cotton table set seemed a little thin and flimsy. I thought the placemats were the napkins, at first. A tablecloth in a contrasting print or color would’ve been lovely, to complete the look. So disappointed that the wooden spoons (in set 1) are already sold out since I just got my box today. I know an antique wooden spoon has been done awhile ago but would’ve been a better addition to the box instead of the shiny new tins. Maybe too much similar textile in the box? A different Marin M item would’ve been nice.
Overall a cute box. Thank you for posting the video so quickly! I am having trouble seeing all the new box items on the Boutique in one place. I needed to type in the product to search
it.
I will need to reach out because the cork in my jug is disintegrating already and will get pieces down inside, and the flap isn’t on straight.
Although I’ve canceled my subscription, I’m looking forward to seeing what the next box brings.
