Loved it but…

I loved the November Box. I’ll get good use of many of the items. I receivedcompliments on the necklace that I wore to a luncheon yesterday. (I told everyone about MFCH box!) The biscuits are yummy and I’ll line the pretty box with felt to keep my collection of fountain pens on my desk along with the new journal. I’ve enjoyed this artist and the journal is great quality! So what I didn’t like – (sorry!) – the T. LeClerc lipstick colour looks terrible on me – it was the rouge one (that looks more like a nude). I’ll give it away or throw it away as I’ll never wear it. I know you have many boxes to fill and you can’t ask people what would look good on them but this is the third time I’ve gotten colours that are just wrong for me and I’ve given or thrown them away. It’s a waste of money and has caused me to wonder about continuing the boxes. So far the good outways the bad but I’m sure you know the US is about to go through a big upheaval soon (no politics intended – just the way I see things going) and money is going to be tight – so I need to like everything I’m getting to justify the cost. Also, I love Natural History print! Unfortunately it arrived will broken glass. I could hear the broken glass moving around in the box even before I opened it. It’s a shame – it’s a lovely print of birds but unless I spend the money for two panes of glass it’s just a print that won’t hang as intended. But, overall, I loved the box I just wish it had been a better fit for me. Thank you as always for the box – I’ve certainly received many items that I would never have gotten in the US so it’s always fun and exciting when the box arrives!

Dear pamela, thank you for taking the time to write your review.  We are sorry you didn’t like the lipstick color.  As you will appreciate it is difficult for us to choose a color that will work for everyone.   Regarding the brokcn glass on the botanical print.  If you would kindly send us the photo of the breakage for our insurance, we’ll be happy to send you a replacement frame.
