A Breath of Perfumed Air

I agree that it would be nice to make some personal choices but that would eliminate the element of surprise, which is one of the greatest charms of this box. It would be hard to know scent preferences anyway, without the ability to give them all a sniff. That being said, I was mostly enchanted with the contents. The color scheme is beautiful! I’m pleased to receive a book. Fortunately, I like all the scented items and they’re all out for use already! Even if I don’t care for a particular scent there’s always something about the beautiful packaging and the fact that it was flown to me from France with great care and selection by Sharon that still makes it so special. The tapers have already graced a dinner, what an elegant perk up that was! I originally wished I’d received the pinks and blues but the greens and neutrals are quite versatile and equally stunning.

I was a little disappointed in the print that started the year. I thought it would be a bigger size and have more embellishment on the card, like his chair print I see online. I love the choice of envelope color but would have preferred the green to surround the card, as a sort of matting I guess? I might try to cut and create my own frameable piece. I’m not sure what size/type of frame the existing card would need. I did think the box would have more elements of his style and aesthetic but I understand space is limited.
