imai: parisian jewelry

imai jewelry

Imai is the creation of Julie Borgeaud, a former interior design journalist.

In 2007, Julie decided to turn the page to a 15-year chapter of writing interior design papers for women’s magazines and began dedicating herself to her true passion, jewelry.

Imai is named in honor of M.I. Road – Jaipur’s mythical jewelry avenue. It is also to commemorate the place where Julie decided to make her career change.

From her years as a journalist, she kept the love of forms and materials. Her jewelry is prominent and dimensional and is often combined with a wide range of elements including gemstones, natural pearls, and crystals. Each collection includes a mixture of eye-catching and timeless earrings, cuffs, and chains that are aimed for the sophisticated and elegant woman who likes bold statement jewels that she can cherish for years to come.

Alongside her permanent collection, Julie frequently collaborates with special limited edition pieces for famous department stores, like the Bon Marché in Paris.

All of the creations by Imai are handmade in Julie’s atelier in Paris by a small team and produced in limited series.

Among her most iconic pieces, the Tweed Pendant Necklace is one of their best sellers. This creation reflects Julie Borgeaud’s chic and daring style.
