We were proud to partner with Hypsoe for our August kitchen themed box, so we’re sharing a little more about the brand and a few tips and tricks for reusing the copper pot from the candle that was in the August box.
About to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the brand Hypsoe has come a long way from its beginning. Originally focusing primarily on providing scents for smaller businesses and hotels, the candles and fragrances are now carried in boutiques and concept stores.
What began as 10 scents, all packaged in aluminum containers, has become 40 scents and 6 olfactory families so anyone can find the one that suits them best! The wax and fragrances are all made in France to ensure the highest possible quality.
All of their candle holders are made of one piece- the aluminum, copper and wooden bases have no seams, making them very sturdy and easy to reuse once the candle itself is finished.
If you received our August My Stylish French Box, you can reuse the copper pot of your Hypsoe candle in your kitchen, or wherever you can find a useful place for it. Soak the pot in warm soapy water to easily lift off the label, and voilà- the perfect multi-purpose copper pot!
If the candle is almost finished- not quite enough to still burn but there is residual wax you’d like to remove- our favorite trick is to stick the candle in the deep freeze for a few hours or overnight. Once the wax is frozen, it should pop right out.
