Each box curation begins with a theme that encapsulates the heart of French living. For this edition, we chose ‘The French Country Cuisine’ to celebrate the beautiful aesthetics of a French kitchen. Once we have the theme we start sourcing in the products.

Sourcing Authentic Items:
Our sourcing journey takes us across France, from bustling markets to quaint artisanal shops, in search of items that perfectly represent our theme. We look for products that are not only beautiful and functional but also tell a story of French craftsmanship and tradition. Each potential item is carefully evaluated for its quality, authenticity, and alignment with our theme.

The Challenge of Sourcing Antique Items:
One of our curation process’s most challenging yet rewarding aspects is sourcing antique items for hundreds of clients. Finding a unique, vintage piece that represents the theme and is available in large quantities is no small feat. Luckily, Sharon has bought antiques for years, and has a great network of reliable antique dealers who help us uncover these treasures. While variations are inevitable due to the nature of antiques, we embrace these differences, as they add to the charm and uniqueness of the Box.

Packaging and quality:
The last thing we want is for you, our clients, to be disappointed because you receive a broken item in the box. This is why we plan the packaging of the boxes so carefully. Sometimes the brand supplies their own packaging, but more often we need to source our own options, to be sure that your box arrives in pristine condition.

Budgeting and Sizing:
Balancing quality and affordability is key. We meticulously budget to ensure that each Box delivers exceptional value for our clients. We also have to bear in mind the size and color palette of each product to ensure a visually pleasing unboxing experience.

Harmonizing Colors and Scents:
Aesthetics play a crucial role in our curations. We carefully select items whose colors complement each other, creating a harmonious palette in true French style. To enhance the sensory experience, we always include an item that smells delightful. These are the details that make our Boxes truly special.

Finalizing and Packing:
Once the items are selected, we proceed to the next exciting phase: the photo shoot. Our in-house team creates stunning visuals for the brochure, capturing the beauty of each item. Then, our small and dedicated team of women lovingly packs each Box, ensuring every detail is perfect before shipping it to your doorstep.
