Antique Painting – Walking past the church.

Oil on board.  Although we haven’t identified the church depicted in this painting, it has all the charm of a scene from everyday life.

From the silhouettes and clothing of the people in the picture we are guessing this is painted around the 1900’s.     We love the puted palette, and the silple frame, although it would be interesting to see the painting in a more ornate frame too.
